Books almost consistently outperform movies when compared to their book adaptations. A film may not convey the same imagery as a book, which is why emotions are mixed with visuals. Reading can give you a different view of a place or character and feelings about the story.
The characteristics of a book are often used to guide the casting decisions for a film adaptation. But, not all looks are as precise. One Vietnamese woman, MsBananaAnna, decided to use artificial Intelligence to determine the appearance of Harry Potter characters based on descriptions in books.

#1 Sirius Black
We reached out to her to learn more about the idea and get in touch with her. The woman revealed she is a 28-year-old “nerd” living in Melbourne. Since grade school, she has been a “Potterhead.” “I grew up with Harry, Ron, and Hermoine, and I can still remember standing in line at midnight to get each book released.”
#2 Fleur Delacour
#3 Severus Snape
“I had to come up with the idea of recreating the characters after I searched for fanworks about Hermione. While I liked Emma Watson in the movies, I thought she was too beautiful to play Hermione. I couldn’t find any accurate representations of her, so I made her. It was so popular that people loved it, I decided to create more characters.
#4 Nymphadora Tonks
#5 Tom Riddle
Some characters may look the same as the ones in the movies. Others, however, are entirely different. Sirius was her favorite character, according to MsBananaAnna. “I thought that was straight out of my head. Artbreeder can be very restrictive in what you can do and can be a little twiddly. However, Sirius came out exactly as I imagined him. Dark and handsome.”
