Martijn Van Oers, a Dutch photographer had bought a Zeiss Ikon 520/2 from a second-hand shop and inside it, an amazing and quite old thing was found. There had been a film roll inside the camera and on top of it, there had been ‘EXPOSE’ written. He had identified that the camera was from 1929 and the film might have been produced somewhere in between the 1940s-1970s after doing some research. And lucky him, he had Johan Holleman one of his friends who develop films in his kitchen and he had helped Martijn out to see what’s in the film roll.

None of them had thought that it would be possible to get something from such an old roll but surprisingly they had been able to see some clear pictures on the negatives. He had written that when they had seen it they were surprised as for real there on the negatives there had been some photos. He had posted on Facebook 4 images clear images that they were able to get. And after that, a friend of his had identified the place in the pictures. And it was found that the place seems like Biarritz in France after verifying on Google Streetview.

From what’s seen in the pictures there’s a lady and a man in that place and the man with the case might have been the one who owned the camera. Martijn thinks that he found a small treasure box or a time capsule that lets us have a look at the past. And also he wishes to give the photos to someone whose related to the original owner.
