Olive Veronesi is a 93-year-old woman who was in self-isolation due to the rapidly spreading COVID-19 pandemic. She held a sign which said “ I need more beer!!” next to her window, and the message was written down on a dry & erase board. Her photo was snapped by her neighbor, who posted it online.
Olive’s plea for more beer went viral as the Facebook post was viewed by more than 5 million viewers. As a result, ‘Coors Light’ beers delivered 10 cases of beer right to Olive’s doorstep on the afternoon of last Monday.

According to Olive, she only had 12 more beer cans left with her when she made the sign.
She told the media: “I have a beer every night. You know what, beer has vitamins in it, it’s good for you, as long as you don’t overdo it.”
After the beer was delivered, snaps in which Olive is holding a “Got more beer!” sign while happily drinking beer, were also posted online.
