This photographer from Norway has stumbled across this chapter in life unexpectedly. Now she cannot get enough of it so that she does it over and over again. Based in Norway, she heads north, towards the Arctic circle where the environment is different. The weather changes constantly and life there is not easy to maintain as the others do in Norway. Britt, with her courage and love sets on expeditions to find and photograph abandoned houses up in the North. The pictures that she captures are just awe-inspiring and she manages to bring out the beauty she sees through her photos. This started with Britt getting an infection that made her allergic to vehicle fumes and other sorts of inhalable pollution. So, she spent time with Nature until she recovered. During that time, she found this amazing concept that she loves.

She found all sorts of abandoned houses in the Northern region where the roads, weather, and almost everything was tough and unpredictable. And every single house you find here has its own look to it.

The photographer mentioned on Bored Panda that she treats houses like people. She tries to find the perfect, angle, lighting, and everything that she would consider prior to taking a picture of a person.
