What happens if you leave your cat in the care of a photographer friend? A professional cat photoshoot is provided to you.
Miranda McDonald recently requested that Josell Mariano watch her kitten, Jade. Josell consented, being the kind buddy he is, but he had other ideas than cleaning up the cat litter and refilling the food dish. He decided to go a step further and arrange for a lovely photoshoot for Jade, something you would be envious of.
“My buddy is a photographer for musical artists, and he went on tour for Julia Micheals and Bea Miller for two months, so I had Jade the whole time,” Josell said in an interview. “[She] is so kind!” She climbs on the bed every morning for pets and hugs, and she does the same at night when we go to bed. She spends the remainder of the day following me from room to room, generally sleeping in a sunbeam. Loud sounds, gentle noises, quick motions, and gradual movements are all things that worry her.”
Josell says he loves cats and considers them “lovely fuzzy buddies” with whom to watch TV.
Of course, this wasn’t your typical smartphone photoshoot — Josell went all out with a professional camera, lenses, and studio lighting! The photographer, on the other hand, claims that catching Jade was no simple work. “Jade was a better model than I expected, but she was still quite wiggly,” Josell added. “Treats and her favorite toy (a broken thread on a stick) kept her occupied.”
