The Chris Carr Park is located in Huntington Beach, California. It has an 11-acre city park and also it is featuring a playground. This park also has a lake for fishing, and family picnic areas.
However, a group of parkers has seen the wild birds of Carr Park with a very strange behavior which has happened recently. These group of people has observed that A Canada goose and ring-billed gull walking towards a sluggish pace. These birds also have hung their heads and eyes were nearly closed shut
In a certain point, the Canada goose fell onto its back. The bird legs were sticking straight up in the air. It was seen like the bird was dead.
Before this scenario happened, someone has seen that hundreds of pills. pills such as heart medications, antidepressants, and anti-anxiety and insomnia medications, were left at Carr Park by an unknown person. The birds probably thought those pills would be grain.
Finally, The Canada goose and ring-billed gull have received IV fluids. Therefore, they appeared to be at healthy levels.
Fortunately, the scenario has a good ending, thanks to the administered fluids.
“A caring citizen noticed hundreds of pills all over the grass at a park in Huntington Beach yesterday. He saw a goose in distress and called Animal Control,” the nonprofit wrote. “There were other birds that may have eaten some of the pills but they were able to fly away. … Thank you to those who took quick action to help the innocent birds at this park.”
