Any little girl can get an ordinary rocking horse, but this one-year-old is far too cool for that. Though we don’t have the technology to build hoverbikes that can carry people, a rocking horse designed after a Star Wars Speeder Bike is more than enough to satisfy a child.
Australian father Tez Gelmir who has built many projects for his son, went all out to build a Star Wars Speeder Bike for his daughter’s first birthday. This rocking horse which appears like the 74-Z Star Wars Speeder Bike is an impressive project by Gelmir.
For those who haven’t seen the movie, Gelmir explained; “The 74-Z Speeder Bike is best known for its appearance in the 1983 movie, Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. In which Imperial Scout Troopers, on the forest moon of Endor, engage in a vicious chase with Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia Organa after the Rebels commandeered the speeder bikes to pursue their foes”.
Completion of this Speeder Bike themed rocker consumed more time and effort than he anticipated. For anyone interested, he has put a step-by-step guide up on Instructables. If you feel like you’re up for the task, go follow his instructions!
