#1. The Woman Who Saved His Life.

Humans of New York

This man here was moving from a foster house to another and found it becoming worse. His brother however was assigned to the Ripley family. They would take both the brothers out for lunch from time to time. One day, Ms. Ripley noticed quite a few bruises and scars on the other brother’s body. Right that day, the Ripleys transferred the other brother to their home as well.

With a terrible turn of events, Mrs. Ripley passed away when she lost her battle with cancer. Left with two boys in her adoption, Ms. Ripley had nothing to do. Although she could have returned the boys back into the system, she did not. She moved to Mississippi in a trailer, doing whatever jobs she could find and raising them. With Ms.Ripley’s upbringing, the boys made their lives successful.

Thanks to her love, these two boys have made very happy lives. She was not a superhero but she certainly did save two lives! For that, they are eternally grateful!
