This mother is pushing the boundaries of hair braiding. Meet Shelley Gifford, an Australian woman who has discovered a passion in an odd area.
“I’ve always liked braiding and would use every opportunity to braid family and friends’ hair,” Shelley explains. But she didn’t grow out of braiding; she now does it with her kid, which is a great reason to do some more.
It gained traction two years ago: “I found a world of braiding on Social Media in April 2014.” (…) I was so taken by what I have seen that I launched my braiding pages on Facebook and Instagram.”
“I adore that morning moment when we are all together as a family,” says one amazing mother, who braids her daughter’s hair every day. She usually completes everything within 20 minutes, but some of her larger tasks take a little longer, so the dynamic mother-daughter combination puts them off until the weekend.
