During this covid-19 pandemic time, you might have lost many precious times which you get only at a certain time in your lives. Maybe you are a grandparent or a great-grandparent and have lost the pleasure of meeting a newborn in your family due to the restrictions imposed. In this time over a year, many babies might have born and they haven’t even met any family member in their family.
Helen Schryver had also faced the same situation as she had not been able to meet her nephew who was born in April 202 due to the traveling restrictions. Taking this into count she had photographed 13 newborns who were born in the lockdown meeting their families for the first time. Little Saul will be meeting his grandmom jill and Gerry her husband. As Gerry cannot see he will meet Saul by touching. Saul has already met only one grandparent and hasn’t met any of his cousins.

Patricia who is 95 years old is Zachary’s great-grandma. He is so fortunate to meet someone who was born about a century before he was born. And their meeting would be a special one for both of them.
The little girl who was born in the Christmas Lockdown finally meets her uncle and aunt for real. She had met them only through the window and Zoom calls.
Being Greeks they love the family a lot. And due to the pandemic, they were unable to meet each other. And here’s little George of 7 months meeting the family.
Leo who is just three months meets his great aunt and great cousins for the first time. It’s a very special moment shared by them.
Being the first grandchild of both sets of grandparents is really special. After a long time, they have met each other and even met Benjamin their first grandchild.

Seeing the newborns for the very first time is a very special moment that you cannot get every time you see them. Family matters a lot to everybody and it’s very hard not to stay together and spend time together with the little ones.
