According to factors, the removal of school subjects from the curriculum will be involved by the huge changes in Finland. This particular social order is approaching to schools in the form of an elimination of all formal school subjects.

Helsinki,in Marjo Kyllonen who is the head of the Department of Education, has conveyed that the way children are presently educated is based on a style which was used to be a benefit to students in early 19s, but he believes that it is no longer applicable and helpful to our modernised way of learning in 21st century. He admits that we should adapt our teachings according to the arsenate way of thinking and developing.

The various changes will associate the taking away of school subjects from the curriculum as proposed by Finnish officials; the study of individual events and phenomena will replace those subjects.

Due to this factor, students will not have individual classes on subjects such as maths, geography and history, despite those they will study an event, such as the Second World War, in related to maths, geography and history.

A proposed course called “working in a cafe” is introduced to provide students with skills on economics and communication and to improve the English language.

This particular standard system will be introduced to students at the age of 16 and it is due to commence in 2020. After completing their initial broad subject studies, particular event or phenomenon can be chosen for their preference, ability and future possibilities.

It is clear that the elimination of school subject is bringing out successful individuals as the previous method was not leading students to accomplish their future ambitions, but learning those prior individual subjects to a specific topic of their choice will be more productive and the most beneficial to their individual learning.

Learner centered education system is perfectly conducted in Finland whereas the Finnish education system also inspires cooperative work as students will be working together in small discussion groups, instead of the regular pattern of sitting behind individual desks and being taught by a teacher.

Also All teachers will be required to be on board and adaptable to the developed teaching system. Especially 70% of teachers in Helsinki have already begun to prepare for the new teaching style, and as a result teachers will be paid more than before.
