Gianna Floyd, George Floyd’s six-year-old daughter, is now officially a stock shareholder of Disney, a company worth nearly $20 billion, thanks to the Hollywood star Barbra Streisand.

Gianna shared Streisand’s praiseworthy gesture on her personal Instagram, thanking the Grammy-Award winning artist for taking a major step for securing her future, financially. However, the number of shares gifted by the Hollywood icon is not known. Along with the shares, she also gifted Gianna with two of her albums: ‘My name is Barbra’ and ‘Color me Barbra.’ One of Streisand’s representatives also confirmed the generous action.

The current price of a Disney share stands at $115, but the Walls Street history shows that it’s a generally solid company to invest in, as it’s possible for people to make good returns from their investments with Mickey and Co.

George Floyd, Gianna’s father, lost his life at the hands of Derek Chauvin, a white police officer, on the 25th of May. Following his murder, a series of protests and riots erupted across the United States to battle the racial discrimination towards African-Americans. Following his murder, Floyd family has been receiving overflowing love from the community.

Kanye West did his part for the future of the Floyd family by setting up a complete college fund for Gianna, as a part of his $2 million donation to support Floyd, Arbery, and Taylor families. Not only that, but the directors of Texas Southern University (TSU) has decided to offer Gianna a full scholarship, if she attends the university in the future. In addition, George Floyd’s Official GoFundMe page has already raised more than $2 million.
