Little, Lilli Durante is a 5-year-old fashionista from Irwin, Pennsylvania who’s suffering from Optic Pathway Glioma, a slow-growing brain tumor that affects the optic nerves. To make the situation less scary, this brave girl dresses up in various princess outfits every time she visits the hospital for her treatment.

When the doctors found out a year ago that Lilli had Optic pathway Glioma they figured that if not treated she may lose her vision. Nowadays Optic pathway Glioma is very treatable but in lily’s case, the doctors decided to go with chemotherapy treatments.
Despite the sad situation, brave little Lilli dresses up in various princess outfits for her chemo treatments.
Lilli has worn 30 dresses so far and has worn Disney princess gowns like Cinderella, Belle, and Ariel. The hospital staff has even started greeting her by saying “Your Majesty” whenever she enters the premises. The best part is when she receives compliments from the hospital staff, every time she’s sporting a new princess dress.
The 5-year-old recently had an allergic reaction to her chemo treatment and will be getting surgery to cure her.
Lilli is such an amazing and brave girl. She is surely an inspiration to all the girls out there. She faces all her fears with positivity and despite her situation, she lights up the hospital room with her lovely self in princess dresses. Our world needs brave little princesses like Lilli!
