According to new research, it has found that half of the people in the UK citizens are not aware where the vagina is located in the body. Possibly worse, sadly, it also evident that only 45 percent of people who have their very own vagina is able to locate the vagina.
A research team wanted to know about how well Brits know their own bodies. Therefore, they asked respondents to label female genitalia. After that, 52 percent of people couldn’t locate the vagina. However, women had some idea and they were somewhat superior at locating it than men, with 45 percent of women incapable to discover it compared to 59 percent of men.
According to Iflscience, Contrary to “men can’t find the clitoris” jokes, this was really the part of women’s genitals that men were most able to locate. 69 percent of men were capable of locating it, 2 percent behind women’s 71 percent. That’s still a lot of people who are not aware of where it is, but we’ll take any victory we can find here.
Additionally, 58 percent of Britons were not able to classify the urethra, and 47 percent was not able to do the same for the labia.
“We accepted misspelled but obviously correct answers, and even euphemistic or descriptive responses when appropriate,” the team wrote. “E.g. ‘wee hole’ for ‘urethra’ or ‘lips’ for ‘labia’.”

The vagina is a tube of muscle inside a woman’s body that runs from the cervix to the vaginal opening.
As per the survey, half of the women are not aware that they need to clean the vagina. Some think that it is supposed to wash every day, some women think that it has to be washed by using soap,
Professor Ronnie Lamont, the spokesperson for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, says: “The vagina contains more bacteria than anywhere else in the body after the bowel, but the bacteria are there for a reason.”
The good bacteria inside the vagina can outnumber other potentially harmful bacteria that might enter the vagina. It can also help keep the vagina’s pH balance at an even level, which helps keep the balance of bacteria healthy.
Bacteria called lactobacilli help keep the vagina’s pH balance at its normal low level which also prevents the growth of other organisms. If the pH of the vagina increases the quality or amount of lactobacilli can fall and other bacteria can multiply. This can result in infections such as bacterial vaginosis or thrush. Stated in NHS.UK
However, it is proven that Nearly half of men (43 percent) think that tampons interfere with how you pee, with 82 percent of women correctly identifying that this is not true.
