Artist Brian King makes the Mayoking comic strip when he’s not busy being a parent and an IT professional — and it’s wonderfully ridiculous.
The artist claimed he’d always wanted to draw comics in a recent interview but hadn’t felt ready until he was depressed and turned to comics for comfort. He now spends at least an hour a day making them and has made over a thousand in the previous three years. The artist stated, “It’s one of the nicest aspects of my life and my day.”
