When you hear the word “mermaids” most of you would remember the Disney cartoon movie “the little mermaid”. We all loved it so much and this movie made a huge impression all across the world. So, the artists didn’t stop creating mermaid stories because people love them, and such stories can attract a lot of fans unconditionally.
As you’ll know, a mermaid is an aquatic creature with an upper female body and a tail of a fish, that comes in fairy tales. Even though different people have reported that they have seen creatures who are similar to mermaids, there is no true evidence to prove their existence.
Andy Ivanov is a Ukrainian story-artist who built a heart touching mermaid story called “May, the mermaid of a lily lake” that went viral so fast on social media. He attracted his 331K followers by uploading one part of this beautiful story at a time. So this made his followers stay impatiently until the next episode. Also, people love his artistic digital creations.
Season 1 of this was published in the year 2019, last year. Andy ended the first season with a question mark. Because of that, his fans really wanted to know the next part of the story. So he released season 2 after 10 months.
The exciting fact about this was that Andy created this animated story idea for the #MerMay challenge, which is a month-long celebration of creativity, community, and mermaids. This is all about giving life to mermaids in the month of May. Andy’s fans are obsessed with this beautiful story, and they are expecting it to come out as an animated movie.
