You don’t really know what an experience is like, of course, until you have it yourself. Every single child is a reward and a blessing. Parenting is one of the most amazing experiences ever, but it can easily be called the most frustrating too! The truth is that parenthood is both wonderful and awful at the same time.
Parents have to deal with things like carrying the baby in a sling or holding them as much as possible, long-term breastfeeding, sharing the parental bed with the baby and always responding to the baby’s cry, no matter how tired they are.
However, Weng Chen, the Seattle-based genius behind ‘The Adventures of Messy Cow’ comics has rewarded parents with another series, these series have given attention to the many hazards that parents often face.
“I’ve done a lot of comics when I was younger but stopped for a long time. One side effect of having children is that it gives you the real sense of mortality. When my second child turned two, I had the urge to start again because if I didn’t, I might never achieve my dream.” Weng Chen told Bored Panda.
According to her latest series, “How a two-year-old can hurt you” explores the various ways a child can hurt their parent in a comical, light-hearted way. “It was fun and meaningful to document my children’s growth, as well as mine. The parents from all over the world told me how this is just like their life experience. I’m happy to know that I was not alone in this situation, and so do other people who read my comics.” the mom of two added, commenting on what lied behind the series.
