An annular solar eclipse, which happens when the Sun and Moon align with Earth, was visible from sections of Russia, Canada, and Greenland on June 10th, while a partial eclipse was visible in Europe and Asia, and the United States. NASA just revealed these fantastic photographs shot by photographers Aubrey Gemignani and Bill Ingalls, in case you missed it.
Two photographers from two distinct perspectives recorded the “ring of fire” eclipse. Aubrey photographed it rising over the Delaware Breakwater Lighthouse on Lewes Beach, Delaware, while Bill recorded it appearing above the United States Capitol building in Arlington, Virginia.
