Heartbreaking video of a nurse recently surfaced the internet as it went viral for all the right reasons. Dawn Bilbrough is a nurse from the United Kingdom and took to FB to post a video of her discovering empty shelves at the grocery store after she had worked a 48-hour shift.

The recent coronavirus has to lead to several lockdowns in many cities and people have cleaned out all the shelves leaving nothing. There are only a limited number of dry rations at these stores and many have introduced shopping hours reserved for the underprivileged.

Even though these measures were taken people are still finding it hard to buy items. Nurse, Dawn was shattered to find empty shelves and broke into tears. Just imagine coming to buy groceries after a 48-long shift and finding out nothing is remaining?

“So I’ve just come out of the supermarket,” Bilbrough explained in the video. “There’s no fruit and veg and I had a little cry in there. I’m a critical care nurse and I’ve just finished 48 hours of work and I just wanted to get some stuff in for the next 48 hours”

She also mentions that there were no fruits and vegetables and that she has no way of staying healthy.

“Those people who are just stripping the shelves have basic foods you just need to stop it because it’s people like me that are going to be looking after you when you are at your lowest and just stop it, please.”

The video quickly went viral and a huge crowd of people started sending their love to Dawn.

“My heart with you Dawn Bilbrough,” one person wrote. “I am also taking care of a COVID-19 patient and sure we need to nourish ourselves with proper food so we don’t get sick. I hope things will be better there in the UK.

While another added: “We need to prop each other up at the moment. Sadly at times like this, people show their true colors. It’s not everyone but too many.”
