One of the driest regions on the planet has lately seen significant changes. The unprecedented phenomenon, dubbed “super bloom” by locals, has resulted from last year’s record-breaking rains.
Typically a barren valley with temperatures reaching 50 degrees Celsius and all life struggling, it has now been transformed into a lively natural paradise. There may be a less cordial relationship with climate change at work in the background, but… At the very least, it looks fantastic.
