Among the different kinds of arts, paper cutting is one beautiful technique that you will see and for one to do this they need patience and their hands need to be very steady. In the Japanese language, this art type is called Kirie. And Masayo Fukuda is a Japanese artist who is very talented and does this technique very cleanly. In this art, you use a single piece of white-colored paper to cut out your design and then you display it by placing it on a black background so that your design is visible. Masayo who has been practicing this art for over 25 years had shown her best work done in 2018, an Octopus which is life-size.More info & Photo courtesy: Masayo Fukuda | Instagram | Twitter

Though it seems like a design done using a pen she had done it by perfectly cutting the paper. The body parts of the octopus are perfectly detailed and various textures are added to different parts and they look like lace patterns. And as the piece of design is place on a black background the detailed patterns are seen clearly. These animals can change their color to match the surroundings they are in.
