People have had domesticated animals and animals as pets for a long time in human civilization. And still, in the modern world, people adopt animals as their pets and together, work towards the safety & rights of other animals on the planet as well. But unfortunately, there are few regions in the world where some of those laws are violated and animals have to face undesirable conditions.

Dogs are the most common type of pet and they are very quick at winning hearts with their adorable nature. But do you know that in some parts of Asia, there still are illegal dog meat farms going on? These operations are illegal, but the people who do them carry on with it under the radar. To fight for the rights and the lives of these poor animals, Humane Society International takes constant action. The Korean branch of this organization had to plan and gather intel for some time to raid this farm. With the help of local law enforcement, they had freed these poor dogs from the farms which were truly horrific. The dogs were happy to see people rescuing them from the jam-packed cages they were shoved into.

Most of these dogs are very weak and in constant fear of humans. They have been brought up in really harsh conditions. They have only known fear and brutality, so it is vital that these dogs are sent for rehabilitation. After they get back to their health, they are flown to Europe and the USA to be adopted into a very happy life.

The Consultant for the HSI in Korea; Nara explained to Bored Panda that the concept that Korea has a popular demand for dog meat is fake. She said that these rings operate illegally and most people are against the slaughter of dogs.

However, the eyes and the body language of these animals said everything as they felt love and security in their life for the first time.
