If you’re unfamiliar with the term “first look,” it refers to the moment before the wedding ceremony when the groom and bride meet one other for the first time. It’s easy to understand why brides-to-be are stressed at this time. Before her “first look” photograph, Kristen Dupree was worried. Zeke, her 2-year-old Labrador dog, was there to assist her ease the tension.
The dog had spent the day with the groom and groomsmen before accompanying Kristen to her picture session. Farlow Photography photographer Perri Farlow photographed the occasion, and the charming photographs instantly went viral.

Perri noted in an interview that although couples often bring their dogs to engagement sessions, seeing them on wedding days is rare. That’s why the photographer was ecstatic when Kristen wanted to conduct the session with Zeke.

“I like it when couples include their dogs in their portraits and weddings,” Perri added. “Dogs elicit such true, honest feeling from their owners, making it quite simple to capture the actual delight people have when they’re with their beloved pets.”

Zeke had already been in front of Perri’s camera since the pair had also taken the dog to their engagement session. “He liked to run about and play, but when it came time to sit for shots, he was docile and did an excellent job.” “He’s the greatest kid,” the photographer added.
Perri said, “Zeke was such a soothing influence for both Kristen and Duncan.” “They adore Zeke, and he loves them in return.”
