Secret Famous Places is an initiative created by Judith and Robin, a German couple, in 2018. It shows the pair as they travel the world searching for the actual locations where classic movie and TV program moments were shot and then attempt to reproduce them as nearly as possible. Their passion is incredibly unique, as their initiative already has over 46k Instagram followers.
When Judith and Robin were thinking about possible vacation places in 2014, they came up with the concept for the project. “We were students at the time, and we wanted to do something spectacular, but we didn’t have a lot of money.” “All of a sudden, we got the notion that we could go to shooting sites,” the pair remarked.

Taking these images isn’t simple, and it frequently relies on the weather, while other times it’s tough to identify the perfect location, as the pair noted. “It’s possible that we’ve been looking for days. And in certain situations, the outfits are so complicated that finding a decent solution takes a long time,” Judith and Robin said. “We always start by asking friends and relatives whether they have something similar to what the actors are wearing. We also do our used garments at times. Also, we have to purchase things from time to time.”
