The phrase “global warming” is no longer a foreign one. Almost everyone in the world has heard of the phenomena, but few people take it seriously enough to take action to prevent the Earth’s climate system from heating up in the long run. Some people would rather live in denial, but it will not prevent the glaciers from melting.

The melting of the ice caps will enlarge worldwide water levels as the average global temperature rises. Climate Central researchers developed a project in which they selected several well-known locations and depicted how they would seem in 2050 if global temperatures rise by 3°C.
