He was recently highly commended for one of his photos that he submitted to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year. This photo was an absolute beauty where an endangered crocodile was spotted taking his 100 or so babies on his back. This species is known as the ‘Gharial’ crocodile and they are extremely endangered. Dropping down to around 1,000 animals in the South Asian region, they are fighting for survival. So, with the given facts, this father piggy-backing his kids was a very heartwarming moment for this photographer. He has explained that these crocodiles are very shy in comparison to the common types of crocodiles that are usually seen. But it will be pretty protective since he has his offspring with him. This photographer keeps giving all types of animals a voice with his work and one person can truly make a huge difference.
